Two figures dance on the rope, looking for each other and pushing away. Like they want to be together but they also need they space.
Small paintings, for example in Flemish art, captivate me. I feel that by their size, they build a special concentration and closeness with the recipient, but also with the creator in the process of formation.
That’s why I painted for a while only small pictures. It gave me the filing of security and intense filing of being in a different world - being in the painting. I’m very curious how it is for the art recipient of my paintings. Do people get easily into the mood of my paintings?
